Senior Figma Product Designer

100% Remote: Yes - will work M -F / core work hours in AZ time zone (some flexibility if candidate is in PST/EST)

Project Overview

  • A minimum of five to seven years of visual, UX or interaction design experience with responsive Web design, mobile design, or game design
  • Ability to use design tools such as Sketch, Adobe CS, Figma, etc.

Projects Position will support:

  • Creates and implements layouts, user flows, and experience maps to communicate product design
  • Visualizes business needs through prototypes, mock ups, and user flows that bring technical capabilities into account
  • Collaborates with designers and product owners to iterate on design and implementation of product
  • Takes part in scrum ceremonies and iterates with product teams to refine designs
  • Helps learn, measure, and build new and existing experiences on Web and mobile
  • Ensures consistency of newly designed features with overall user interactions
  • Stays on top of UX trends and looking for creative ways to inspire delightful experiences
  • Regularly checks with stakeholders and users that fall within our key personas via user testing to validate designs
  • Uses design tools such as Sketch, Adobe CS, Figma, or other similar tools
  • Keeps a close eye on WCAG and ADA compliance when designing and QAing experiences for people with disabilities

  • Provides evaluation, engineering/design and implementation services for new products, technologies and solutions to address corporate business requirements.
  • Provides escalation support to Tier 1 and 2 engineers.
  • Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in problem solving.
  • Resolves or facilitates resolution of complex problems for assigned program.
  • Has a thorough and comprehensive mastery of supported platforms/products and environments.
  • Focuses the majority of time on complex engineering, architectural and implementation tasks.
  • Project assignments are large in scope and are highly complex. Provide exceptional customer service to end users, Business Stakeholders and other members of ITD.
  • Perform daily production support activities. Participate in team on-call rotations.
  • Perform patching and code deployments across all environments Lead projects associated to the enhancement, upgrade/patching, or implementation of new or existing technology solutions.
  • Coordinate implementation and support efforts between ITD Operations and other ITD teams.
  • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Provide oversight and facilitation of the ITD change management process as it applies to the ITD Operations team.
  • Review, recommend and monitor the source code/versioning management function adhering to technical management guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and ownership of issues across multiple disciplines and technologies.
  • Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive monitoring and alerting process across all ITD Operations platforms.
  • With oversight from the Principle System Engineering and System Manager(s), initiate and facilitate strategic planning activities (capacity planning, process improvement, maintenance, upgrade and end-of-life planning, roadmap development).
  • Build new test and production environments on existing or new hardware as required.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement scripted solutions.
  • Identify technical innovation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive and ongoing release management and planning program.
  • Utilize standard tools and methodology to develop system and support performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate potential leadership qualities through team motivation, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge & expertise with business processes and routines.
  • Research and recommend appropriate System Administration best practices, and tools.
  • Perform crisis management during high-severity operational incidents.
 
REQUIRED MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND TRAINING:
  • Ability to develop and organize written documentation and procedures is required.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in determining work and problem resolution priorities and approaches.

Position Overview: 
The Information Security Engineer will work with Information Security staff in the day-to-day execution of security tasks and projects, evaluate security components of the network, applications and End-User devices and provides support for incident response and closure. In addition, the Information Security Engineer will assist as directed in the development of the overall processes with respect to security engineering which will include operational security processes, procedures, guidelines and standards within IT and participates in a support on-call rotation facilitating off-hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment.
  • Ensures new and existing systems meet regulatory and technical standards, studies and remains current on the relevant hardware, software and technology in all information security domains.
  • Development, monitoring and responding to security dashboards and alerts through analysis, maintenance and tuning support of enterprise SIEM system
  • Assist with the technical configuration, implementation, administration, management and maintenance of multiple security technologies and solutions including but not limited to a enterprise/industry level SIEM, MFA, IAM, IDS, and IPS
  • Assist with security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and security reviews periodically to ensure the security of corporate technology systems and data.
  • Proactively identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Works with other teams/departments to develop and maintain data classification standards and adherence
  • Work with other departments to assist in engineering and or provide technical integration of security solutions and monitoring systems

  • Experience with Endpoint tooling such as McAfee, Symantec, S1, FireEye, CrowdStrike, etc.
  • Experience with producing spreadsheet based reporting
  • Experience with Splunk or other SIEM platforms
  • Endpoint/network traffic troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow infrastructure
  • Responsible for EPP Operational ticket work
  • Experience with cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and tools/technologies
  • Skilled at speaking and writing to/with engineering and non-technical audiences.
